Who We Are

Kathy’s economic development expertise resulted in numerous achievements in a vast array of economic development goals for the municipalities of Durham Region, Chatham-Kent and the City of Kitchener, all located in the Province of Ontario.  Attracting new investment and jobs as well as retention and expansion of existing businesses were the primary foundations of those goals.

As a seasoned Economic Developer, attracting FDI played a key role throughout Kathy’s career. Working primarily in China, Europe, Germany and the USA, Kathy travelled globally on a regular basis and has a solid understanding of the business practices and cultures in those countries.

Strategy development, planning for community growth and prosperity, public relations, public speaking and superior customer service were priorities for Kathy in her many functions as the Director, Economic Development and Tourism.
